A tribute to the one of the most faithful...

Many were taken back by the passing yesterday of Keegan Jay Watson. A blood clot in Keegan’s brain was found yesterday via ultrasound and the prognosis was poor. Keegan passed yesterday in the arms of his two loving parents. Born on December 29, 2008 from January 3, 2009, during the short 5 days he lived, he was loved so deeply. There is talk of a funeral service that will be held on Tuesday. A final update on the time and place will be posted at the wish of the parents. Please keep Jason and Katy in your prayers during this time of difficulty.

  1. Jason & Katy,
As I have sat back and watched you two over this last week, my heart has been filled with strength and enthusiasm. As a couple you comforted each other and prayed together for strength. You are both great examples to me.

Your love for Keegan was evident and will always be there. I feel your lose and pray that our Heavenly Father will bless you both with the strength to endure and prepare for your future opportunity to raise little Keegan in the millennium.

I love you both and want you to know that I am here for you if you need anything.

  2. Jason and Katy,

Our hearts were so saddened when we learned today of Keegan's passing. We want you both to know how sorry we are the pain you are experiencing at this time. We just wanted you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and that we love you. We understand your pain more than you know. Your little boy is beautiful and you are blessed to have been given a perfect child! Our hearts go out to you and you will be in our prayers. We love you, Jeff and Jean Coombs and family

  3. Jason and Katy,
I am so sorry to hear of this trial that has come into your life. You both seem too young for this to have happened already. But Katy, I know of the kind of person that you are. For four years, you were like one of my own. I mourn with you at this time, but I know how strong you are and can imagine that Jason is just the same. Rely upon the Lord at this time and trust that he loves you, Jason, and Keegan. Trust that he can comfort you, because he has felt your pain. Not someone else's pain that is something like yours, but the pain that you experience now, is the EXACT pain that he has experienced. He has your greater good in mind and can turn what seems a tragedy such as this into an event that can only make you stronger and better. I love you both and have been thinking of you this week. I continue to think of you, fast for you, and pray for you!!!!!

  6. Keegan Jay Watson what a wonderful name for such a valiant son. His life mission was very brief, but oh so sweet. He left his mark on many hearts during his earth life. We feel the pains of grief because we love and we can feel comforted because our Savior loves. Keegan will be your personal liahona that keeps your family focused on eternal things. I am sorry for your pain and loss at this time but I rejoice in your joy of welcoming a beautiful son to your family. Look forward to the eternities. My love to all, Lauren Pickeral Forson
